  • Youth conflict coaching is a process where young individuals, either one-on-one or in small groups, work with a coach to build skills for resolving conflicts and managing difficult situations. Unlike mediation, which involves a neutral third party helping two people resolve their differences, youth conflict coaching focuses on empowering the individual to navigate challenges on their own, develop healthy communication habits, and handle future conflicts confidently.

  • Youth conflict coaching is designed for young people who want to improve their ability to handle disagreements, whether with friends, family, or at school. It’s especially helpful for teens or preteens who want to build stronger communication skills, reduce stress around conflict, and learn strategies to address challenges in a positive, constructive way.

  • Yes, youth conflict coaching is confidential. Everything discussed during the coaching sessions stays private, helping create a safe and supportive space for young people to express themselves freely. While there are some exceptions in cases of safety concerns, the goal is to ensure that your child feels comfortable sharing their challenges and learning new ways to manage conflicts.
